I found this in github as well:

lava-local-test is developed for executing LAVA test definitions on local test target
It seems to fit my needs. Is it supported in V2?

It's not directly in the LAVA docs as such, but we might migrate it there yet:

It's written mentioning LKFT and kernel engineers, but it's not specific to them. :-)
