To follow up on your proposal shared during the latest Open-CMSIS-pack meeting to collect proposals for changes or add-ons in the Open-Cmsis-Pack spec
related to pdsc, we (ST) have listed the items we propose to change or add – see attached file. Most of them have been already discussed in the open-cmsis forum with existing github issues but it remains one we are still discussing internally to work out a
detailed proposal. It will aim to create "parts pack" with a new /package/parts elements and subsequent new attributes to describe the boards hardware next to the main device (SoC) in order to get additional information that can be helpful to configure some
sw components.
I am using the mailing list of the open-cmsis-pack group to initate such discussion but we can handle it by another means if you think it is more appropriated.
